{ TRUSTEE’S GARDEN SPACES}
Trustees Gardens is 6.3 acre site on the last large parcel of land in the Historic District. Charles H Morris bought this land along with an adjacent 3 acre site in 2004. Mr. Morris and has already begun restoration of several of the historic buildings on the site that include the former Hillyer Building (now Charles H. Morris Center), the Three Gables Building, and Keyhoe Iron Works to name a few.
The Charles H. Morris Center is the first phase of this Trustees’ Garden nine-acre project which involved the restoration and renovation of a historic 1881 building made of Savannah grey bricks.
This venue is a versatile and flexible facility that can be used for such things as business meetings, trade shows, art fairs, church and school gatherings, catered seated dinners, weddings, receptions, Bat and Bar Mitzvahs, speaker’s forums, on-line video conferences, visual and performing arts.
